►WINE BOTTLE:
Upcycled glass for reuse and repurposed to create a unique wine bottle art candle holder design. The TRANQUIL bottle is cut on an angle midway between the neck and body. The BORDEAUX is cut on an angle around the neck area of the bottle. A wet belt sander is used to remove outer sharp glass edges and a diamond smoothing cone is used to remove sharp edges on the inside lips of open ended glass vessels. Flame polished finished on all glass cut areas to remove dull areas of the cut.
*Note that upcycled wine bottle may have slight irregularities and imperfections within the origin of the glass. Oil lamp not included with purchase.
►LIVE EDGE WOOD:
The natural edges, wavy grain lines, quilting, unique colors, knots and bark inclusions are the characteristics that define live edge wood. Each wood slab has specific feature and will vary from log to log milled. The pictures shown on this page is evident of the varying difference in grain patterns and characteristics of the wood. The bark is removed, sanded, cut a circular ridge to fit the repurposed wine bottle in place.
*Note that each wood log has a has a unique characteristic and will vary is shape, size, texture and it's not always what's in the picture shown. Also, the crack on the wood may be visible due to its natural dry cracking process.

►HORSESHOES:
Upcycled horseshoe are acquired from various ranches in Arizona. Nails removed, sanded rust, patina polished and sprayed with poly acrylic finished. The horseshoes are attached at each end of the log using original horseshoe nails.
►FRACTAL ART:
A process of applying 20,000 volts of electricity to the wood surface recreating a lightning strike in slow motion as well as unique abstract figures, tree and vein like shapes.
►OIL FINISH:
Hand rubbed clear satin gel polyurethane finished. It brings out the natural beauty of wooden surfaces; durable coating for use on wood surfaces and contains ultraviolet absorbers for advanced sun protection.
►USE AND CARE:
To revitalize desert hardwood, apply John Boos mystery oil and wipe off excess.
►DISCLAIMER:
For live candle or oil lamp use, avoid grabbing the neck of the wine bottle to prevent hand injury. To put out the candle or oil lamp, gently lift the lower part of the wine bottle. GC Creative works is not responsible for any injury cause by the product we produced.
