ROCKY was with his family for 16 years. ►WOOD MATERIAL: Locally source desert hardwood MESQUITE is uniquely hand-crafted and custom designed from weathered-down trees found in the Maricopa County, AZ. Acquiring these logs allows me to create 100% sustainable art, repurposed live edge wood design. All art is made in North Peoria, Arizona.
►FRACTAL ART: A process of applying 20,000 volts of electricity to the wood surface recreating a lightning strike in slow motion as well as unique abstract figures, tree and vein like shapes. His ashes are added to the fractal burns on the surface of the wood and sealed with self-leveling high gloss UV resistance clear epoxy. ►PROSECCO BOTTLE: The bottle is cut on an angle called the TRANQUIL CUT midway between the neck and body. Wet belt sander is used to remove outer sharp glass edges. Diamond smoothing cone is used on the inside lips of open ended glass vessels. Flame polished finished on all glass cut areas. *Note that upcycled wine bottle may have slight irregularities and imperfections within the origin of the glass.
►OIL FINISH: Hand rubbed finish using Old Masters gel polyurethane clear satin gel oil and John Boos mystery oil. It brings out the natural beauty of wooden surfaces; durable coating for use on wood surfaces and contains ultraviolet absorbers for advanced sun protection.
►USE AND CARE: To revitalize the wood, apply John Boos Mystery oil and wipe off excess.
