►LIVE EDGE WOOD: The natural edges, wavy grain lines, quilting, unique colors, knots and bark inclusions are the characteristics that define live edge wood. Each wood slab has specific feature and will vary from log to log milled. Each live edge desert hardwood is uniquely hand-crafted and custom designed from weathered-down trees around Maricopa County, Arizona. By acquiring these logs, it allows me to create 100% sustainable, re-purposed live edge wood art designs. Locally source and made in North Peoria, Arizona.
►FRACTAL ART:
A process of applying 20,000 volts of electricity to the wood surface recreating a lightning strike in slow motion as well as unique abstract figures, tree and vein like shapes. It is sealed with epoxy inlay ink self-leveling high gloss U.V. resistant formula.
►EPOXY INLAY:
Epoxy inlay with clear or color pigment is used to seal the burns created during fractal art process on the surface of the wood. Any voids or cracks from the wood are sealed with epoxy to maintain the integrity of the wood.

►OIL FINISH:
Hand rubbed Old Masters clear satin gel polyurethane oil to bring out the natural beauty of desert hardwood surfaces.
►GUITAR HARDWARE:
The new design, known as the “Guitar Keeper”, has a deep cradle design that prevents the guitar from being improperly placed into the hanger. This ultimately provides a safer hanger for your instrument, as the guitar needs to be lifted 2 inches and brought forward to be removed. The pivoting yoke allows for Electric, Acoustic or Bass guitar headstocks to be cradled perfectly while still hanging straight. Made in the USA.
►ENGINEERING:
GC Creative Works researched and tested the use of proper hardware for mounting the String Swing guitar hanger to live edge wood materials. A threaded insert made of carbon steel zinc plated finished goes into predrilled hole and has internal threads. It offers a strong permanent thread to live edge hardwood and mount the guitar hanger yoke. Mounting hardware included with two drywall anchors and two 2-inch Phillips wood screws.
